We had the pleasure of meeting Dai-Ting Chung ,the caretaker of the Chi Mei Culture foundation's collection of rare stringed instruments, on our last visit to Taiwan. He was gracious enough to take time out of his busy schedule to meet with us and share some of his thoughts and ideas about classic Italian violin making.
The Chi Mei Foundation is very well respected and we appreciate what they are doing to promote violin players throughout Taiwan. Dai-Ting studied violin making with Edward Campbell at the famous Chimneys Violin Making School in the United States.

We all had a wonderful and informative visit, and look forward to a long and rewarding friendship.

My Childhood classmate and world famous pianist Rueibin Chen visited Cupertino Strings during a recent California concert tour. It was great fun to catch up on old times and hear about his facinating life on the road. He even graced us with a short "live" performance right in our living room.
Rueibin Chen is an internationally acclaimed pianist and is a Taiwanese National Treasure.
