There is only one word to describe audience reaction at violinist Lindsay Deutsch's January 13th performance at the Le Petit Trianon Theatre. . . mesmerized. Lindsay, along with piano virtuoso James Lent, gave an unforgettable performance that is sure to be talked about long after the beautiful sounds of the night have faded from the ears of listeners.

Lindsay drew a near capacity crowd to downtown San Jose. This is not an easy feat for classical performances in intimate venues, especially since there were several other classical events scheduled on the same night. Lindsay's delivery was flawless, and on many occasions the performance was delayed, having to wait for audience applause to subside between selections. While it was Lindsay's playing style that totally captivated the audience, it was her natural charm and clever wit that won the hearts of the crowd. Lindsay's selection of diverse violin classics kept audience members young and old, on the edge of their seats. At the end of the performance, Lindsay was presented with flowers and the entire house rose to its feet for a well-deserved standing ovation.
Manning the "Cupertino Stringworks" table at the end of the concert gave me the pleasure of being the recipient of countless accolades from adoring fans. I literally witnessed people jumping up and down with excitement as they recounted the night's stellar performance. The two questions that came up time and time again were "Where can I buy Lindsay's CD?" and "When is she coming back?"
We at Cupertino Stringworks would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Lindsay and James for the wonderful evening they provided for all. Meeting Lindsay, James, and Lindsay's parents, was a rare treat and we hope that the experience was as positive for them as it was for us. We are sure that our audience fell in love with Lindsay as much as we have.

We would also like to thank the community for the great response to this event. A special thanks to Haidee Lim, Susan Dee, and Barbara Jones for providing great moral support throughout the event. What else can we say except "Bravo" Lindsay Deutsch!
